Ryan W. Appleton

Mr. Appleton was raised on a cattle ranch near Brady in the Texas Hill Country. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, graduating cum laude in 2002. He received his law degree from the University of Texas School Of Law and earned his Texas State Bar license in 2006. He is also licensed to practice before the United States District Court, Western District of Texas.

Mr. Appleton clerked for a construction litigation firm while in law school before taking an associate position in a small general practice in Austin. He then managed his own law firm for over a year before taking a position with Slater, Kennon & Jameson, LLP in early 2009.

Although well-versed in a wide range of legal areas, Mr. Appleton now focuses on the fields of business litigation, business transactions, business and commercial law, real estate, consumer litigation and collections.

Mr. Appleton is also a licensed Texas Real Estate Salesperson.
